Bloodworms are not true “worms” nor are they Mosquito larvae as are sometimes mislabeled, but Bloodworms are rather a larvae stage of the insect Midge Fly (Chironomus genus). Nice sized worms, with a minimum of powder from processing. Bloodworms can be re-hydrated with water by spraying on a foil sheet and freezing. This will allow them to sink readily for bottom feeders.
